Description : Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order, which will operate is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets: Hallfield Road, Aberdeen, from the junction with Burnbrae Crescent to the boundary between number 8 and 10 Hallfield Road from 08:00 on 18th May, 2021, until 17:00 on 19th May, 2021. An alternative route is available via Springhill Road, Lang Stracht, Fernhill Drive, Burnbrae Avenue and Burnbrae Crescent;
Greenfern Avenue, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 9 and 11 Greenfern Avenue to the gable end of number 23 Greenfern Avenue from 08:00 on 20th May, 2021, until 17:00 on 21st May, 2021. An alternative route is available via Greenfern Road, Fernhill Drive and Fernhill Road;
Fernhill Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Greenfern Avenue and Fernhill Place from 08:00 on 24th May, 2021, until 17:00 on 25th May, 2021. An alternative route is available via Greenfern Avenue, Greenfern Road and Fernhill Drive;
Burnbrae Crescent, Aberdeen, from its junction with Hallfield Road and to the gable end of number 9 Burnbrae Crescent from 08:00 on 26th May, 2021, until 17:00 on 27th May, 2021. An alternative route is available via Hallfield Road, Springhill Road, Lang Stracht, Fernhill Drive and Burnbrae Avenue;
Fernhill Road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 3 and 5 Fernhill Road to the boundary between number 7 and 9 Fernhill Road from 08:00 on 28th May, 2021, until 17:00 on 29th May, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fernhill Drive, Greenfern Road and Greenfern Avenue;
Fernhill Road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 55 and 57 Fernhill Road to the boundary between number 63 and 65 Fernhill Road from 08:00 on 1st June, 2021, until 17:00 on 2nd June, 2021. An alternative route is available via Springhill Road, Greenfern Road and Greenfern Avenue;
Burnbrae Crescent, Aberdeen, from its junction with Hallfield Road to the boundary between number 21-31 and 33-43 Burnbrae Crescent from 08:00 on 3rd June, 2021, until 17:00 on 4th June, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fernhill Drive, Burnbrae Avenue and Burnbrae Crescent;
Burnbrae Crescent, Aberdeen, between its junction with Fernhill Drive and Burnbrae Place. An alternative route is available via Lang Stracht, Springhill Road and Hallfield Road and also on Fernhill Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Lang Stracht to the boundary between number 1-11 and 13-23 Fernhill Drive. An alternative route is available via Lang Stracht, Springhill Road and Greenfern Road from 08:00 on 5th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 6th June, 2021.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Springhill Road between its junctions with Lang Stracht and Sheddocksley Drive to allow for regular bus services from 08:00 on 5th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 6th June, 2021.
Burnbrae Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Burnbrae Crescent and a point 15 metres in a northerly direction from 08:00 on 7th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 8th June, 2021. An alternative route is available via Fernhill Drive and Burnbrae Crescent. The one-way system on Burnbrae Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Burnbrae Crescent and Fernhill Drive will be suspended during these times to allow egress from properties. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Burnbrae Avenue, Burnbrae Crescent, Burnbrae Place, Fernhill Drive, Fernhill Place, Fernhill Road, Greenfern Avenue, Hallfield Crescent, Hallfield Road, Lang Stracht, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 18th May, 2021, until 17:00 on 28th June, 2021.
Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time.
