Description : The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on Monday, 17 May 2021, until 22:00 on Wednesday, 2 June 2021, is to impose the restrictions below to allow heating duct installation works.

The works will be carried out in stages as per the schedule below.

Stage 1; Fernhill Drive will be closed from a point 10m north of its junction with Hillylands Road to its junction with Burnbrae Avenue. There will be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road.

Hillylands Road will be closed from its junction with Fernhill Drive to the boundary between numbers 29 and 31 Hillylands Road. There will be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road.

The one-way system on Burnbrae Crescent from its northern junction with Fernhill Drive to its junction with Fernhill Place will be suspended. There will be a prohibition of waiting on Burnbrae Crescent from its northern junction with Fernhill Drive to the driveway at the side of numbers 2-12 Burnbrae Crescent.

Stage 2; Fernhill Drive will be closed from its northern junction with Burnbrae Crescent to Burnbrae Place. There will be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road.

The one-way system on Burnbrae Avenue from its junction with Fernhill Drive to its junction with Burnbrae Crescent will be suspended.

There wll be a prohibition of waiting on Burnbrae Avenue from its junction with Fernhill Drive to the driveway at the side of numbers 1-6 Burnbrae Avenue. Stage 3;

Fernhill Drive will be closed from the driveway at number 25 Fernhill Drive to its southern junction with Burnbrae Crescent. There will be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road.

The one-way system on Burnbrae Place from its junction with Fernhill Drive to its junction with Burnbrae Crescent will be suspended.

There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Burnbrae Place from its junction with Burnbrae Crescent to the disabled parking bay at the rear of numbers 1-11 Fernhill Drive, and on either side of Burnbrae Place from the footpath at the side of numbers 53-63 Burnbrae Crescent to the southern gable of number 8 Burnbrae Place, and also on either side of Burnbrae Place from its junction with Fernhill Drive to a point 10m in a westerly direction.

Stage 4; Fernhill Drive will be closed from the southern gable of numbers 1-11 Fernhill Drive to its junction with Lang Styracht. There will be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road.

Access to Burnbrae Avenue during stage 2 will be maintained from Burnbrae Crescent.

Access to Burnbrae Place during stage 3 will be maintained from Burnbrae Crescent.

Alternate Route : An alternative route for the Fernhill Drive closures is available via Lang Stracht, Springhill Road and Greenfern Road.

An alternative route for the Hillylands Road closure is available via Croft Road, Croft Terrace, and Arnage Drive.
